Hey Sista Gal!

This week has been nothing short of amazing, and I can’t wait to share all the juicy details with you. So, sit back and let me fill you in on the latest happenings in my life here in Thailand!

Discover This Week-This week I visited The Love In Museum in Pattaya, Thailand. Recently opened in August of 2023, this museum showcases the works of both famous Thai and international artists. The artworks are presented in various forms, including paintings, art, pictures, and sculptures, providing a comprehensive exploration of the theme of love. I throughly enjoyed this experience and recommend you check it out when you’re in Pattaya! To see more pictures visit my Tik Tok or Youtube!

Moving On Up!! To the Deluxe Apartment……

First and foremost, I’ve got some exciting news to spill. I officially signed a lease for my very own luxury deluxe apartment in the sky! This place is something else, sis. It’s nestled on the 22nd floor, and let me tell you, the view from my rooftop pool is nothing short of breathtaking. It has a panoramic view of Pattaya city, and it’s close to everything I need. I’m the first tenant in my unit, which means I get all the brand new goodness, but it also means I need to buy every little thing to make it feel like home.

But here’s the kicker, I stumbled upon something amazing while shopping for my new place. Shein has its very own Thailand-based website, and guess what? They offer something we rarely see back in the United States—Cash on Delivery! It’s been a game-changer for me as I deck out my new space. And speaking of that, I’m planning to offer a virtual tour soon once everything is set up just the way I like it. You won’t want to miss it!

But is my back still wide?

In the fitness department, I’ve been getting my sweat on at least three days a week, diving into pool fitness. Guess what? I’ve shed 11 pounds since arriving in Thailand, and let me tell you, it’s looking fabulous on me! I’m feeling healthier and more energized every day.

Singing……What About Your Friends?

This week, I hit the town with my new buddy, Marie. Exploring the city with her has been a blast, and it’s so great to have someone to share these adventures with. And guess what else? I made friends with an American from Chicago who just so happens to live in my building. It’s all coming together, and I’m slowly but surely building a community here. I’m absolutely loving it!

Conversations with Chrissy

One of the most significant lessons I’ve learned this week is the importance of being my own best friend. As I navigate this new chapter in Thailand, it’s essential for me to focus on my surroundings and what I came here to do: find myself. That means less time on the phone, especially those long-distance calls back home. While I cherish those connections, I also recognize the need to nurture my relationship with myself.

People watching has taken on a whole new dimension for me here. I find myself sitting in a cafe, in back of a tuk tuk, or at the beach, simply observing the world around me.

Here’s a funny one—I talk to myself more than I ever realized! It’s like having a constant dialogue with my inner thoughts. But you know what? It’s a form of self-reflection and a way to process my experiences. Sometimes, the best conversations are the ones you have with yourself.

So, my dear friends, thank you for joining me on this self-discovery journey. Each week, I’ll be sharing more about my adventures and the lessons I’m learning along the way. Remember, it’s okay to be your own best friend and cherish the moments you have with yourself. Until next time!
